Mississippi Unannotated Code

Link to the official unannotated searchable Code of the US State of Mississippi hosted by Lexis Publishing, the official publisher of the Mississippi Code. The Code contains State legislation collected and arranged by subject. The text of the code is based on the 1972 version and is freely provided by Lexis Publishing, the official publisher of the Mississippi Code. A lookup facility and full search are available. Links to the text of the Mississippi State Constitution with lookup facility are also provided.

New York Court of Appeals Decisions

Full text decisions from the New York Court of Appeals, the highest Court in the US State of New York, are freely available from two complementary sources online. The Court deals with cases involving broad issues of law. Recent decisions are posted on the Court's own website on the day of release and are available for 2007 and 2008. The Cornell Legal Information Institute site supports keyword searches, offers a listing by topic, summaries by date and listings by first and second party names from 1990 onwards.

State of Rhode Island General Laws

An Internet version of the Rhode Island Code, presenting the general laws of the US State of Rhode Island in codified form. The site is provided by the Rhode Island General Assembly without charge and the code text is updated through to the end of the 2007 legislative session. A contents listing provides browsing access in title number order supported by a code search form.

Iowa Law

Section of the Iowa General Assembly website providing the Code of the US State of Iowa (current and historical versions), Iowa acts (1993 - ) and the current texts of the Iowa Constitution, Administrative Code and Court Rules. A compilation of all Iowa election laws is also available. The Administrative Code is accompanied by the Iowa Administrative Bulletin (1997 - ), which publishes official notices about changes to the Code. All the laws on the site are both searchable and browseable.

South Carolina Legislature

Official website of the State of South Carolina in the United States. The site provides background information about the Senate and the House of Representatives, access to state legislation, member profiles, details of committees and calendars for the South Carolina Senate and House of Representatives. There is legislation for the current session, the South Carolina Code of Laws, Code of Regulations and the Constitution. These can be searched or browsed online. The archives include legislation back to 1975, act lists, budgets, reports and legislative updates.

Opinions of the New Jersey Courts

A full-text archive containing decisions from the New Jersey Courts published on the Rutgers Law School website. Opinions include those of the Supreme Court from March 1994 onwards, opinions of the Appellate Division from September 1995 onwards and the Tax Court from September 1995 onwards. A series of search boxes provide access to the New Jersey Court decisions enabling users to find cases in a specific Court or search by date or party name or free text. Additional options allow the user to find documents by citation or docket number.

Western Criminology Review

Western Criminology Review is the official journal of the Western Society of Criminology at Sonoma State University. The goal of WCR is to 'provide an attractive and meaningful outlet for academic areas in criminology and criminal justice'. This site provides peer reviewed papers published in full online in the fields of criminology and social justice. Readers are able to respond to articles and reader comments are subject to peer review. Both the current and past issues are available online.

South Carolina Code of Laws

Official website for the South Carolina Legislature, publishing the text of the Code of Laws for the US State of South Carolina. Laws are arranged by subject in codified text and browsable by title. A full-text search facility is also provided. Additional links to the State of South Carolina Code of Regulations and Global Legal Information Network are offered by the site.

US Department of Justice

Official government Internet site for the Department of Justice in the United States, describing the structure, operation and activities of the Department and its divisions and bureaux. A collection of publications, legal documents and reports are available from the site, including the Attorney General's Annual Report, Strategy documents consultation papers and selected decisions from cases of note. Topical legal news is provided, and press released dating back to 1994.

New York State legislation

This section of the New York State Assembly website provides full text access to laws and bills for the US State of New York. Bills can be searched by number or keyword and viewed in summary and full text formats. New York State Laws can be browsed or searched on the site. The laws are arranged in alphabetical subject order. From this page it is also possible to consult the legislative calendar and current committee agendas.
