Ius Mentis

The website Ius Mentis is a Dutch-language resource guide to intellectual property law in the field of computers, programming and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) generally. The site is produced by Arnoud Engelfriet an IT-lawyer and patent attorney and is intended for those with an ICT background as well as lawyers. The site is divided into a number of sections relating to particular aspects of intellectual property law in the ICT context, including patents, copyright, trademarks, database rights and software.

Netherlands Helsinki Committee

Website of the Netherlands Helsinki Committee (NHC), a non-governmental organisation promoting human rights, democracy and the rule of law in Europe and in Central Asian countries that are members of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The NHC supports the work of international and national governmental and non-governmental organisations including the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the International Helsinki Federation for Human Rights. Its activities include fact-finding missions, lobbying and various projects.

Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons

Official website of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, the implementing body for the Chemical Weapons Convention (Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction). The site presents the full text of the Convention, together with supporting information and related international agreements. Additional documents include reports, news and facts and figures. The entire series of Chemical Disarmament Quarterly is also available.

Netherlands legislation

Collection of links to Dutch laws made freely available on the Lexadin website as part of their World Law Guide. Lexadin is a legal technology service based in the Netherlands. Laws are arranged by subject including constitutional, electoral, administrative, criminal, civil, company, employment, health, banking, environmental, communications and intellectual property law. There are laws covering litigation and court procedure and links to government departments and other organisations providing access to Dutch law.

Child Abduction Section

Child Abduction Section of the website of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH). There is a full text copy of the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction 1980 and a list of countries who have signed or ratified the Convention. Contact details for the relevant government authority in each country is given along with documentation relating to the Convention and relevant HCCH publications.

Cameroon Legislation

Online guide providing a compilation of links to full text Cameroon legislation made freely available by Lexadin a legal technology service based in the Netherlands. Laws provided on the site are taken from a range of sources and are organised by subject including electoral law, administrative law, criminal law, commerce, company law, employment law, banking law, mining, communications and media and environmental law. There is also a full text copy of the Cameroon Constitution. Most of the texts linked to are in French.

ICC Legal Tools

ICC Legal Tools is a web database providing information and commentary about international criminal law. Developed by the Legal Advisory Section (LAS) of the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court (ICC), it is aimed at all those dealing with international war crimes cases.

Hague Academy of International Law

Website of the Hague Academy of International Law, a centre for research and teaching in public and private international law, based at the Peace Palace in The Hague. The site gives background and historical information about the Academy including details of summer and external programmes being offered. The site lists the academics, practitioners and diplomats who are currently running courses at the Academy which does not have a permanent teaching staff. Details of past courses held at the Academy are compiled into a publication called the Collected Courses.

Hague Justice Portal

The Hague Justice Portal is maintained by the Hague Academic Coalition, a consortium of academic institutions. The Portal provides news stories, factsheets, and research papers relating to the work of the Hague institutions, courts and tribunals, including the International Criminal Court; International Court of Justice, International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia; Iran-United States Claims Tribunal; Permanent Court of Arbitration; Special Court for Sierra Leone.
