World Trade Organization

The guide is primarily intended for users of the Peace Palace Library, so it focuses on print and online material available at the Library; however, the information is also of interest to other researchers. Eipascope

Journal published by the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA), covering all aspects of European Union administration. Previously on the EIPA website, the journal is now available from 1992 to 2012 from the Archive of European Integration, an online service run by the University of Pittsburgh in the United States.

International Institute of Air and Space Law

Website of the International Institute of Air and Space Law at Leiden University in the Netherlands. The institute's work includes teaching at graduate and post-graduate level, conducting research and providing advice and information to governments, international organisations and airlines. Its website includes information about the work of the Institute, the Hague Space Resources Governance Working Group and the International Air Law Moot Court.

Ius Mentis

Dutch-language webgsite providing guidance on internet law and technology, by information and communications technology (ICT) lawyer Arnoud Engelfriet. The site is intended for lawyers and people working in the field of ICT. It covers patents, copyright, trademarks, database rights, information security, internet law, software and e-commerce. Many sections offer a 'crash course', introducing basic definitions as well as legal information.

Netherlands Helsinki Committee

Website of the Netherlands Helsinki Committee (NHC), a non-governmental organisation promoting human rights, democracy and the rule of law in Europe and in Central Asian countries that are members of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The NHC supports the work of international and national governmental and non-governmental organisations including the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the International Helsinki Federation for Human Rights. Its activities include fact-finding missions, lobbying and various projects.

Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons

Official website of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, the implementing body for the Chemical Weapons Convention (Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction). The site presents the full text of the Convention, together with supporting information and related international agreements. Additional documents include reports, news and facts and figures. The entire series of Chemical Disarmament Quarterly is also available.

The Judiciary

Official website of the judiciary of the Netherlands. Includes information about the court system, a database of judgments ('Uitspraken'), and a range of registers (insolvency, guardianship, estates and so on). It also provides guidance for the general public, as well as procedural rules, forms and related information for lawyers. The site is in Dutch.

Child Abduction Section

Child Abduction Section of the website of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH). Includes the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction 1980 (in a range of languages) and a list of countries who have signed or ratified it. Contact details for the relevant government authority in each country are given, along with documentation relating to the Convention and relevant HCCH publications.
