Pump Court Tax Chambers

This is the website of Pump Court Tax Chambers, a UK set of barristers’ chambers specialising in tax law. The ‘Resources’ section lists full-text judgments from 2005 onwards, available in PDF. This section includes articles written by Pump Court’s barristers from 2010 onwards, which again are in PDF format. There is also a small publications section.

Oxford University Press: Law

UK publisher based in Oxford, covering public international law, European law, human rights, constitutional law, legal theory, jurisprudence, UK law and some other areas of law. The website has an online bookshop; it also offers pdf catalogues for scholars, practitioners and international lawyers, as well as a catalogue in e-book format.

Kluwer Law International

English-language law publisher covering many different jurisdictions. The website offers an online bookshop and catalogue. There are RSS and Twitter feeds, and the Online Products page has links to blogs on the law of patents, competition, copyright, mediation and arbitration.

Cambridge University Press

Academic publisher based in Cambridge in the UK. Has a large law list, covering international and comparative law as well as the law of the UK, the US and elsewhere. The website provides a searchable and browseable online bookshop. It also offers the law catalogue in a free e-book format. Users may sign up to receive notification of new publications.

Bloomsbury Professional

Bloomsbury Professional is a law and tax publisher covering England and Wales, Scotland and Ireland. The website provides its current catalogue, which includes books, journals and looseleaf services. It also has information about Bloomsbury online services.

Squire Law Library

Website of the Squire Law Library at the University of Cambridge. The Library’s collections cover English law, public international law (a particular strength), EU law, conflict of laws and foreign and comparative law. The website provides information about the collections, library services and e-resources. It includes the online catalogue, a serials list, news items and guides to the collections. The Library home page has a link to the Eminent Scholars Archive, a set of interviews with leading academics, accompanied by photographs, bibliographies and biographical information.

Law Society: Library Services

Information about the collections, services and facilities of the Law Society Library, a private library for solicitor members of the Law Society of England and Wales. Includes a link to Library Online, the catalogue and legal information database. There is information about the Law Society Archive as well as the Library. Explore the British Library

‘Explore the British Library’ is the British Library’s main catalogue. It covers books, journals, newspapers, conference proceedings, electronic resources, maps and other materials. Registered readers can use the catalogue to order items for consultation in the reading rooms. Anyone can use it to order photocopies from the British Library, for a fee.

COPAC

COPAC combines the catalogues of more than one hundred research libraries in the UK and Ireland, allowing them all to be searched simultaneously. It includes the holdings of the British Library and many university and specialist libraries. Quick or advanced search screens are available and there is also a special search facility for finding maps in library collections. COPAC is run by Jisc, a non-profit organisation based at the University of Manchester which provides digital services for the UK academic community.
