Immigration Law Practitioners' Association

Official website for the United Kingdom's Immigration Law Practitioners' Association. The ILPA is the UK's professional association of lawyers and academics practising in or concerned about immigration, asylum and nationality law. The site describes the aims and structure of the Association and terms of membership. Information is provided on ILPA training courses and publications, with notes on Parliamentary lobbying activities and policy on European cooperation.

Bundesgerichtshof

The German Supreme Court (Bundesgerichtshof) web pages give information, in German, on the jurisdiction, structure and activities of the Court. They are hosted by the University of Karlsruhe. There is a description of the allocation of different types of cases among the several chambers (Senates), current lists of the judges of the Court and lawyers working in the Court, an historical list of presidents of the Court, a description of the Library, and copies of the Court's annual reports and judicial statistics since 1996.

Max Plank Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law

Website of the Max Plank Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law (formerly the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law) which is part of the Max Planck Society, a German research organisation. The Institute's research interests cover criminal law, criminology and public law. The site has information about the Institute including yearly activity reports, a list of publications and working papers available to download via SSRN.

A directory of legal information guidance and source links on the Internet dedicated to United Kingdom law, developed by the Centre for Criminal Justice Studies, University of Leeds. The site is arranged in sections under headings for: the Legal System, European law, Criminal Justice System, Civil Justice System, Informal Justice, Civil Liberties, Law of Contract and Tort and Current Events. Commentary and relevant links are provided by the site.

Gazette du Palais

Web pages of the Gazette du Palais, the French law journal and current awareness service for the legal profession in France. The printed Gazette has been in publication since 1881. Features of the website include the "fonds documentaire", the "s?lection gazette", and the "copies d'arr?ts". To gain full access, a subscription is needed. The site is in French throughout.

Northern Ireland Assembly

Official website of the Northern Ireland Assembly, the devolved legislature for Northern Ireland, established in 1998. The site provides information about the progress of bills before the Assembly; the text of bills from the current and previous sessions; Hansard from 1998 onwards; details of the making of statutory rules from 2011 onwards; committee reports from c.2011 onwards; research papers; news and other information.

Constitutional Council of France

Website of the French Conseil Constitutionnel, a permanent French court created by the Constitution of the 5th Republic on 4th October 1958. The Court has powers to decide on the lawfulness of presidential elections and the conduct of referendums, and can give its opinions when consulted by the French head of state. The site offers details of the Conseil's current business and recent decisions (Actualit?s), and gives a direct link to the Constitution of 1958.

Forschungsgesellschaft Flucht und Migration (FFM)

This is the website of Forschungsgesellschaft Flucht und Migration (FFM), a Berlin-based research centre focusing on refugee movements. Founded in 1994, FFM researches the situation of refugees and migrants in various Central and Eastern European countries. Main research areas are refugee interests and rights, German legislation with respect to refugees and migrants, the trans-national nature of refugees' and migrants' own organisations amongst others.
