Ershadul Karim who is a non-practicing lawyer of Bangladesh Supreme Court and the Editor of Chancery Law Chronicles. The guide was published in 2015 (and updated in 2023) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law.

Eastern Caribbean Securities Regulatory Commission

The Eastern Caribbean Securities Regulatory Commission (ECSRC) is the regulatory body for the Eastern Caribbean Securities Market. It regulates securities dealing in Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, and St Vincent and The Grenadines. The ECSRC website provides the organisation’s laws and regulations, including the Eastern Caribbean Securities Act 2001.

Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States

The Organisation of the Eastern Caribbean States(OECS) is an intergovernmental body founded in 1981 which seeks to promote cooperation amongst the nations of the Eastern Caribbean. Its members include Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Montserrat, Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands and St Vincent and the Grenadines. The site provides general information on the purpose of the body, its current activities and basic information about the member states. Details of projects and programmes are given along with documents, treaties and agreements.

Human Rights in the EU: the Charter of Fundamental Rights (2000)

'Human Rights in the EU: the Charter of Fundamental Rights', is House of Commons Library Research Paper 00/32 (March 2000). It examines the development of a human rights doctrine in the European Union and the contents of the draft charter on fundamental rights. Also considered is the relationship between this and the European Convention on Human Rights and the response from the UK government.

COMESA is an inter-governmental body encouraging economic cooperation between countries in East and South Africa. Member states include: Angola, Burundi, Comoros, D.R.Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Namibia, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sudan, Swaziland, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Secretariat for Legal Affairs, Organization of American States

The Secretariat for Legal Affairs forms part of the Organization for American States (OAS) providing advice and legal services to the OAS in the field of public international law and private international law. The OAS is a regional forum for dialogue and cooperation on political, economic and social issues in the Americas. The site explains the work of the Inter-American Specialized Conferences on Private International Law (CIDIP) who produce international instruments such as conventions, protocols, uniform documents and model laws which are provided on the site.

ASEAN Law Association

Website of the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Law Association, a non-governmental professional organisation which brings together members of the legal profession in ASEAN countries. The site provides historical and organisational information about the ALA. Publications and speeches of members from the various countries can be freely downloaded.
