This part of the European Parliament's website provides a searchable database of research produced by European Parliament departments. All aspects of the work of the European Parliament are covered, including legal affairs, constitutional affairs, agriculture, the economy, human rights, the environment, international trade and freedom security and justice. In addition to the database itself, there is a subject catalogue of the documents it contains, providing brief details but not the full text.

National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia

This is the official website of the Armenian Parliament. It provides access to information on the history and current operation of the Parliament. The English language version of the site contains parliamentary news, plus the text of the constitution and rules of procedure. There are profiles of members and full text legislation can be downloaded in PDF. Laws can searched by keyword and browsed alphabetically or by subject. The site can be viewed in English, Russian and Armenian.

Riigikogu - Parliament of Estonia

This is the official website of the Parliament of Estonia. The site features information on the history of the Parliament and the electoral process, as well as current electoral procedure and the functions, structure, committees, membership and factions of the Parliament. Legislative procedure is also discussed, including sessions, work schedules and procedure. Also included is information on the work of parliamentary delegations and groups in the field of international relations. The site is available in Estonian, Russian, and English languages.

Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago

This is the official parliament website of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. It provides background information about the House of Representatives and Senate and their committees, together with news and publications. Hansard is available from 1990 onwards and acts from 1999 onwards. The current and previous constitutions of Trinidad and Tobago are also provided, and there is information about the progress of current bills.

Parliament of Zimbabwe

Official website of the Parliament of Zimbabwe. The site describes the functions, structure and current activities of the parliament and its committees. The Constitution of Zimbabwe is available on the site, together with Hansard (parliamentary debates) from 2004 onwards and lists of current Members of Parliament.

This is the website of the parliament of Finland (Suomen Eduskunta). The site provides details of the parliament's history, speakers, committees, parties and the electoral system, alongside information about international cooperation and the parliament's relations with the EU. There is a searchable directory of members of parliament, a collection of statistical data on parliament and a diagram showing the organisation of the Parliamentary Office, depicting the hierarchical relationships between various parliamentary bodies.

Internet Library of Early Journals: digital library of 18th and 19th century journals

This site was created by the Universities of Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and Oxford. It provides free access to a number of leading 18th and 19th century English journals: Gentleman's Magazine (1731-50); the Annual Register (1758-78); Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society (1757-77); Notes and Queries (1849-69); the Builder (1843-52) and Blackwood's Edinburgh Magazine (1843-1863). These are of value for social, economic and political historians of the period.
