Official database of UK treaties and treaty information, maintained by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Contains details of treaties published since 1783 and the full text of treaties published in the UK Treaty Series from 1892 onwards.

Australian Treaties Database

Official database of Australian treaty information, giving the status of each treaty, its Australian Treaty Series citation and other details, plus a link to the text on the AustLII website. The database homepage also provides information about the treaty-making process, status lists for multilateral treaties deposited with the Government of Australia and other treaty-related information. The database is produced by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

New Zealand Treaties Online

Official database of New Zealand treaties, with status information, citations and other details. Basic and advanced search facilities are available and the text of most of the treaties is available in pdf format. The database is produced by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania

Official website for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, available in Lithuanian, English, Russian and French. As well as detailed information regarding the officers, operations and mission of the ministry, the site also contains a number of English translations of key documents, such as foreign policy statements, press releases and speeches. There is also a browsable database of English translations of all bilateral and multilateral treaties.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia

The official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, available in Latvian, Russian and English. Site contains a variety of information and documentation pertaining to Latvia’s foreign and diplomatic policy such as immigration, citizenship, bilateral relations and consular missions. Provides English translations of all relevant legislation and documents. There is also a full-text English database of all bilateral and multilateral treaties to which Latvia is a signatory in the policy section of the website.

Irish Treaty Library

A collection of treaties from the Irish Treaty Series, available on the BAILII website. All Irish treaties since 2002, plus a selection of earlier treaties, are available in full; for many other treaties, brief details are provided but the full text cannot be accessed. The earliest information in the database is from 1930.

United Nations Environment Programme

UNEP was established as a programme of the United Nations General Assembly as a result of the 1972 Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment. Its headquarters are in Nairobi and there are regional offices and specialised units around the world. This website at the Geneva Executive Centre describes the various conventions and treaties currently in force including the Basel Convention on Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and the Prior Informed Consent (PIC) procedure (hazardous chemicals), providing technical guidelines and downloadable documents.

Convention on Biological Diversity

The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) website gives access to documents and databases on biodiversity along with background information on the Convention and a copy of the text. The Convention is a major international agreement on the protection of wildlife. It is the first global, comprehensive agreement to address all aspects of biological diversity including genetic resources, species, and ecosystems. There is information on parties to the Convention, related bodies and programmes.

E-MINE Electronic Mine Information Network

The Treaties and Law section of the E-MINE website gives access to treaties and other legal materials relating to the use of landmines. The E-MINE site is provided by the United Nations Mine Action Service. As well as giving full text copies of individual instruments focusing on landmines like the Convention on Cluster Munitions, the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Treaty ("Ottawa Convention") and the 1980 Convention on Conventional Weapons the page provides access to collections of treaties covering international human rights law, refugee law and the Geneva Conventions.

International Justice

Sub section of the website of the Global Policy Forum (GPF), focusing on the development of international law. The GPF is a non-governmental body founded in 1993 to monitor the global policy making of the United Nations. This section of its website collects together articles, analysis and news stories related to international justice, including introductory descriptions of key issues and institutions, under headings such as the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court, and the Alien Tort Claims Act (of the United States).
