Cancellation policy

Should you subsequently wish to cancel your place on an event, the following cancellation policy applies:

For events which have a fee:

• Prior to the booking deadline 10% of your fee will be deducted, after the booking deadline 50% of your fee will be deducted.
• We are unable to refund your fee in case of non-arrival. Another person may be substituted from the same institution/organisation as long as the details of the substitute are received in writing.
• UKCLE cannot accept responsibility for re-imbursement of travel or other expenses incurred should an event be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

For events offered at no charge:

Where there is no charge for an event, we ask that once a booking has been confirmed at least 48 hours notice should be given if you are unable to attend the event. A cancellation charge of £50 will be made in the following circumstances:

• Less than 48 hours notice of non-attendance given.
• No prior notice of non-attendance given

Another person may be substituted from the same institution as long as the details of the substitute are received in writing.
