Olympic Charter

Description:

The Olympic Charter is the founding document of the Olympic Movement, setting out the legal status of the International Olympic Committee and the required and exclusive role of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in dealing with mediation in any disputes arising in relation with the Olympic Games. The Charter also establishes the roles of the International Federations for individual sports and the National Olympic Committees in individual countries and other matters relevant to the Olympic Movement such as compliance and update of the World Anti-Doping Code.The latest official text of the Olympic Charter is provided freely in PDF format on Olympic.org, the official website of the Olympic Movement.
