The guide is published on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The guide outlines the regional and state structure of Kyrgyzstan and explains the role of the president, parliament, government, legal and judicial system and the electoral process. A summary of the law relating to intellectual property, labour, property, taxation and land reform is also given along with a selection of web links. This 2014 guide is an updated version of the article published in 2002 on LLRX.com (Law Library Resource Xchange) the free online web journal for legal information professionals.
