Online guide to the law and legal materials of Rwanda written by Dr. Etienne Mutabazi, Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of Iringa in Tanzania. The guide was published in 2025 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author gives an overview of Rwanda’s legal history from 1890s through to the 2003 Constitution. There are sections looking at the structure of government, the criminal justice system and sources of legislation.

Finding the Law of the Micro-States and Small Jurisdictions of Europe

Online guide, written by Andrew Grossman who is a retired U.S. Foreign Service Officer, to finding sources of primary and secondary law for “small jurisdictions” of Europe -defined as “political entities having a population under one million persons”. The guide was published in 2024 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author gives links to academic works on micro-states and to law libraries that hold printed materials on these jurisdictions.

Singapore Law Watch

Singapore Law Watch is a free legal news service provided by the Singapore Academy of Law, a membership organisation for the legal profession in Singapore. The site is updated daily covering news and legal developments in Singapore. Links are given to the latest judgements from the Court of Appeal, High Court, Intellectual Property Office of Singapore and the Tax Boards and to legislation published in the last three months.

World Prison Brief

Website of World Prison Brief a database providing free access to information on prison systems around the world. The resource is part of the Institute for Crime & Justice Policy Research’s (Birkbeck, University of London) World Prison Research Programme. Information is arranged by country and includes contact details of the government department responsible for prisons, figures for the prison population, the percentage of female, foreign and juvenile prisoners and prison population trends.

Vietnam Ministry of Justice

Website of the Ministry of Justice of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The site gives information on the role of the Ministry, its organisational structure and profiles of the ministers. There are news items outlining the activities of the MOJ including legal developments and international legal pursuits. The site can be viewed in English and Vietnamese.

Introducing the Legal System of North Macedonia

Online article to the law and legal system of the Republic of North Macedonia written by Servaas Feiertag who is a consultant in the rule of law and justice reform in South Eastern Europe. The article was published in 2023 (and updated in 2025) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author gives historical background to North Macedonia and outlines the main provisions of the Constitution.

Bulgarian Institute for Legal Initiatives

Website of the Bulgarian Institute for Legal Initiatives (BILI) an independent policy organisation focused on reform of the judiciary and the establishment of a more transparent, accountable and predictable governance in Bulgaria. Details of current and past projects are given on the site including civic monitoring of public appointments and the Transparent Parliamentary Appointments Initiative. BILI publications are also free to view online. The site can be viewed in Bulgarian and English.

ASEAN Judiciaries Portal

Launched in 2018, the ASEAN Judiciaries Portal (AJP), produced by the Council of ASEAN Chief Justices (CACJ), provides information about the judiciaries and legal environments of the ASEAN member states. On the main site there are pages dedicated to the CACJ activities and training courses offered, as well as a case repository. The portal also includes sections specific to the various member states, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
