This site contains the full-text of the Malta Constitution which is made freely available in English by International Constitutional Law (ICL) at the University of Bern in Switzerland. The Constitution was adopted in 1964 and includes a declaration of principles, citizenship, fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual, the President, Parliament, the executive, the judiciary, finance and public services. The Constitution schedules are also included along with brief background notes.
