This section of the AustLII (Australasian Legal Information Institute) website provides information about the Australian Human Rights Centre (AHRCentre), an inter-disciplinary research and teaching institute based at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). The Centre is engaged in research and teaching on Australian and international human rights law and publishes the Australian Journal of Human Rights and the Human Rights Defender. The Australian Journal of Human Rights can be downloaded back to 1994 (the first issue) and selected issues from 1994 to 2003 of the Human Rights Defender are also available on the site.
