Center for Legal Policy

The Center for Legal Policy (CLP) forms part of the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, a think-tank based in New York. The CLP is concerned with reform of the US civil justice system and its work includes publishing books, papers and reports and hosting conferences, forums and seminars for lawyers and policy makers.

Durham European Law Institute

The Durham European Law Institute (DELI), at the University of Durham's Department of Law, focuses on subjects such as European constitutional law, the EU internal market, EU external relations law and fundamental rights. Its website gives details of DELI courses, lectures and conferences, its fellows and their research.

Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice

Web pages of the Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice, based in the School of Law at Queen's University Belfast. The Institute was founded in 1994 and its aim is to carry out research and postgraduate teaching in the fields of criminology and criminal justice. The website provides details of current research projects, conferences and seminars, as well as the Institute's publications.

International Institute of Air and Space Law

Website of the International Institute of Air and Space Law at Leiden University in the Netherlands. The institute's work includes teaching at graduate and post-graduate level, conducting research and providing advice and information to governments, international organisations and airlines. Its website includes information about the work of the Institute, the Hague Space Resources Governance Working Group and the International Air Law Moot Court.

Kozolchyk National Law Center

Non-profit research and legal reform organisation, formerly known as the National Law Center for Inter-American Free Trade. NatLaw was founded by Boris Kokzolchyk, Evo DeConcini Professor Emeritus of Law at the University of Arizona. It carries out research into commercial laws and practices of different countries in order to harmonise and standardise the legal infrastructure and eliminate trade barriers. The Resources page includes a link to a subscription-based database of Latin American legislation, cases and commentary, in Spanish.

Centre for European Legal Studies

Website of the Centre for European Legal Studies (CELS) at the University of Cambridge. Outlines the Centre's work on EU law and the individual legal systems of European countries and provides information about conferences, seminars and lectures. There are details of CELS publications - including the Cambridge Yearbook of European Legal Studies - and a few working papers are available.

Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, University of Minnesota

Website of the Centre for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, at the University of Minnesota in the United States. The site includes educational resources relating to the Nazi holocaust and genocide studies in general, including video and audio materials, personal narratives and photographs. There is also a searchable database of relevant books and articles. Information is provided about the work of the Centre and its newsletter is available from the Fall 1999 issue onwards.

Institute for Human Rights, Åbo Akademi University

The Institute for Human Rights is part of the Department of Law at the Åbo Akademi University, Finland. Its main areas of research are the rights of minorities and indigenous peoples; economic and social rights; non-discrimination; fundamental standards of humanity; participation and democracy; and human rights in domestic legal systems. The Institute is the Finnish documentation centre for literature on human rights and a Council of Europe depository library for information concerning the European Convention on Human Rights.
