South Eastern Circuit

Website of the South Eastern Circuit, the largest of the six Circuits in England and Wales. The South Eastern Circuit represents barristers practising in this area which includes Cambridge, London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Kent and Surrey. The Circuit represents members views with the Bar Council, Lord Chancellor's Department, Court User Committees and Area Criminal Justice Liaison Committees and provides training through courses, seminars and workshops. The website gives information about the Circuit's activities, officers, forthcoming events and how to join.

Honourable Society of Gray's Inn

Website of Gray's Inn, one of the four London-based colleges of barristers. Covers the history of the inn, its structure, management and activities. Honourable Society of the Inner Temple

Inner Temple is one of the four Inns of Court, London-based colleges of barristers. The website has news, event listings and job vacancies. There is information about becoming a barrister, with details of scholarships and awards; it also lists courses for new practitioners. A section for members of the Inn covers volunteering opportunities, financial support and childcare. Union Internationale des Avocats

The Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA) is a non-governmental organisation established in 1927 to establish international contacts between lawyers. It seeks to promote and defend the legal profession, uphold international principles of human rights and justice and develop the body of international legal knowledge. Commissions of the UIA carry out research and development work on more than 40 aspects of law and legal practice.

Criminal Bar Association

Website of the Criminal Bar Association (CBA) a specialist bar association which "exists to represent the views of the practising members of the independent criminal Bar in England and Wales." The site includes full-text CBA newsletters from 2001 onwards, a list of events and lectures held by the organisation and recent reports of the CBA working parties. A selection of papers and fact sheets are also available to download.

American Samoa Bar Association

This website has a list of members of the American Samoa Bar Association and information about the courts in American Samoa.
