Laws of South Georgia & the South Sandwich Islands

This section of the South Georgia & the South Sandwich Islands (SGSSI) government website provides access to the Ordinances (primary legislation) and Orders and Regulations (secondary legislation) made by the Commissioner for the Territory. The South Georgia & the South Sandwich Islands are a self-governing Overseas Territory of the United Kingdom. The laws are arranged by date back to 1908 and can be viewed as PDFs. A link is also given to the British Settlements Act 1887 under which the SGSSI Commissioner has the power to make laws.

Mental Health Law Online

Mental Health Online is a free portal website providing an internet resource on mental health law, and mental capacity law, for England & Wales. The site provides links to case law, legislation and general information on mental health; as well as producing an Annual Review which contains all news items, arranged thematically, which were added to the website during that year

Danish Patent and Trademark Office

The Danish Patent and Trademark Office (DKPTO) is the official representative of Denmark acting on behalf of the Danish Government regarding all aspects of IP legislation and policy. The DKPTO's Policy and Legal Affairs Department is responsible for developing Denmark's IP legislation and policy in relation to patents, utility models, trademarks and designs. Thus the site provides links to treaties, EU Council regulations and agreements and other materials concerning patents, utility models, trade marks and designs.

Jamil and Jamil

The website of Pakistani law firm Jamil and Jamil provides a large collection of Pakistani legislation (under ‘Publications’). Acts, ordinances and some rules and regulations are available; they are arranged by subject under about thirty different headings, including Companies, Commercial, Intellectual Property, Family, Property, Labour and Tort.

Isle of Man Legislation

The official Isle of Man legislation websit,e providing free, open access to all current Acts of Tynwald consolidated to show all amendments. Each of the current acts shows the act consolidated to September 2012. The site offers browse and search facilties and features: current acts presented alphabetically or by subject, with a point in time function allowing previous versions of acts to be viewed; a table of changes made to acts showing the source of amendments and the date they came into effect; all acts published “as enacted” since 2001; all acts repealed since September 2012.

African Legal Information Institute

The African Legal Information Institute (AfricanLII) makes available treaties, cases, resolutions, decisions, reports and other publications of African regional organisations. It also provides access to legislation and cases from 16 African countries, via its search facility. The home page has links to regional and national African websites. AfricanLII is a project of the Democratic Governance and Rights Unit (DGRU) at the University of Cape Town law faculty.

Laws of Grenada

Online version of the consolidated Laws of Grenada, provided for information only by the Grenadian Ministry of Legal Affairs. Users can browse by title, A-Z, and there is a search facility. Each act is accompanied by the relevant subsidiary legislation, at the end of the document. The consolidated texts are not fully up-to-date: check the SR&Os and Acts tabs for subsequent amendments.
