Australasian Parliamentary Counsel's Committee

Website of the Australasian Parliamentary Counsel's Committee (PCC), a discussion forum for the development of legislation. The PCC consists of the heads of the offices of Parliamentary Counsel for the Australian Commonwealth, the States, the ACT, the Northern Territory and New Zealand. PCC publications on national uniform legislation and a list of harmonised laws are available on the site, together with a page of links to sites providing legislation for common law jurisdictions. Parts of the site are password-protected. 

Centre for Democracy and Rule of Law

The Centre for Democracy and Rule of Law (CEDEM) is a Ukrainian think tank made up of media and human rights lawyers and policy experts. CEDEM is concerned with the protection of freedom of speech and the human rights of journalists. Its work includes reform of media laws, support to citizens involved with freedom of information cases, and the provision of courses on media law in Ukraine. The Library section of the site provides summaries of Ukrainian media legislation. The site can be viewed in English or Ukrainian.

Legislation of Ukraine

This site is compiled by Verkhovna Rada (the parliament) of Ukraine and provides access to a database of full-text Ukrainian legislation. The database can be searched by keyword, type, date and government department. The New Acts page lists legal instruments by date and issuing authority (Parliament, President, and so on); it can be browsed by date, month and other criteria. The site hasd Ukrainian, Russian and English interfaces, but Ukrainian search terms must be used, as the legislation is provided in Ukrainian only.

The Human Right to Education Research with an Annotated Bibliography

An Introduction to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

Online research guide to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) written by Shaher Awawdeh who is the OIC’s Deputy Permanent Observer to the United Nations. The guide was published in 2020 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The OIC is an intergovernmental organisation with 57 member countries. The guide gives background and historical information about the OIC and reasons for its establishment in 1969.

Guyana Law and Legal Research

Online guide to the legal system of Guyana written by Errol A. Adams who is Reference and Scholarly Services Librarian at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in New York. The guide was published in 2020 (and updated in 2025) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author provides background and historical information on Guyana and highlights the legal resources available for researching Guyanese law.

Introduction to the Law and Legal System of the Islands of Comoros

Online guide to Comorian law written by Michael Gyan Nyarkois who is a Ghanaian lawyer working in the Centre for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria. The guide was published in 2020 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The Comoros Islands are an archipelago situated in Southern Africa with a diverse population of Arabs, Persians, Indonesians, Africans, Indians and a minority of Europeans.

Researching the Law of the Spanish Autonomous Communities

Online guide to the law of Spain’s autonomous communities, by Julienne E. Grant, Reference Librarian/Foreign & International Research Specialist at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law Library. The guide was published in 2019 (and updated in 2025) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The guide gives historical background information to Spain’s autonomous communities and lists key texts and electronic guides to aid research on this topic.

European Commission: Banking Union

This section of the European Commission website provides information on the Banking Union which was set up following the financial crisis to create a safer financial sector for the single market. The first two ‘pillars’ of the Banking Union are a single supervisory mechanism (SSM) and single resolution mechanism (SRM). These are explained on the site, and links are given to related documents and EU directives.
