Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania

Official website of the Lithuanian Ministry of Justice. The site has an article giving a brief history of the Lithuanian legal system and a list of Ministers of Justice since 1990. Brief information is given on the Ministry's work in various areas including criminal justice, legislative process, consumer rights protection and registration of political parties. There are contact details (including web links) to institutions subordinate to the Ministry such as the Prisons Department, the State Patent Bureau and the Law Institute. The site is available in English and Lithuanian.

International Academy of Family Lawyers

Global association of experts in family law, founded in 1986 with the aim of improving family law practice throughout the world. The website has an overview of the academy's work, details of events. and a directory of family lawyers (IAFL fellows). The Resources section includes press releases, webinars, IAML amicus briefs and lectures. Parts of the site are restricted to members.

The site provides information regarding the firm's practice areas which include energy and utilities, financial services and insurance, government, infrastructure and construction services, manufacturing and engineering, real estate, services and technology. Within each area there are in-house news and bulletins made freely available on the site in PDF format. The site gives staff profiles and details of events and training courses offered by the firm.

Vrhovni sud Republike Hrvatske

Official website of the Supreme Court of Croatia. The site explains the structure of the court and gives information on judicial power in Croatia. It also has an outline of the court system. Details of public sessions and court statistics are given, along with summaries of articles by justices of the court. There is also a page of links to other Croatian courts. The site can be viewed in English and Croatian

Ustavni Sud Republike Hrvatske

Official website of the Constitutional Court of Croatia. The English-language version includes translations of the Croatian Constitution, the Constitutional Act on the Constitutional Court, the court's rules of procedure, selected cases (2005 onwards) and case statistics. The Croatian-language version of the site has this content plus agendas and minutes from court sittings, court forms and other information.

Ured Predsjednika Republike Hrvatske

Official website of the Croatian President. The site has a profile of the President along with a collection of his speeches and news items relating to the President's official activities. There is information on the role of the President as set down in the Croatian Constitution and contact details for the President's advisers.This site is also available in Croatian.

Annual Survey of American Law

Website of the online legal journal Annual Survey of American Law which is a student edited journal of the New York University School of Law . The journal was established in 1942 and is concerned with "exploring contemporary legal developments in the United States". The link is to the current issue, but other recent issues back to 1999 are also available online. The journal organises and publishes proceedings from an annual symposium covering particular topics such as law and the media, church and the state, U.S. immigration and the future of public education.

Animal Legal and Historical Web Center

Website of the Animal Legal and Historical Web Center which is a project based at the Michigan State University - Detroit College of Law. The site provides free access to primary legal materials and guides to the law. US laws and cases are arranged by state or subject. Subjects covered include animal rights, dog fighting and exotic pets. There is also information on the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). The emphasis of the site is on U.S law but it includes legal materials from other countries such as the United Kingdom, Brazil, Malawi, Poland and Taiwan.
