This site is aimed at people interested in pursuing a career in law in the United Kingdom. It provides background information on a range of legal professions including guidance on becoming a solicitor, barrister or legal executive. There is information on legal courses including the Legal Practice Course and the Bar Vocational Course. Tips and advice are given on topics such as choosing the right university, interviews and applications, training contracts and pupillage.

Panopticon

The Panopticon blog is maintained by barristers at 11KBW in London. It monitors developments taking place in information law. The site has a section explaining what information law covers, including areas such as "data protection, freedom of information, the protection of private information under article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights, breach of confidence, and the regulation of surveillance". Posts cover legal news stories including links to original sources, decisions, legislation and reports.

Thailand Law Forum

The Thailand Law Forum (TLF) was founded in 1997 by American and Thai law professors to provide Thai legal information in English. The website includes the bi-annual Thailand Law Journal, translations of legislation - including codes - and summaries of Supreme Court opinions from 2005 to 2009. Contact details of a selection of Thai law firms and legal news stories are also available. The site is maintained by Thai law firm, Chaninat & Leeds.

LXBN: the LexBlog Network

The LXBN website brings together recent posts from a large number of legal blogs, arranged by area of law, from Administrative to Technology. The site also acts as a portal to each individual blog. Probably the majority of the blogs are US-based, but some are based elsewhere and/or have a global focus. The site is searchable or browseable, and popular posts are highlighted on the home page. LXBN was set up by Kevin O'Keefe of LexBlogs, a US company that builds and supports blogs for lawyers.

ABA Journal

Online version of the ABA Journal, the journal of the American Bar Association. Members of the ABA can access issues from 2004 to the present. Non-members can access ABA podcasts and view a limited amount of journal content. 

The China Collection

Blog focusing on Chinese law edited by Donald Clarke of George Washington University Law School and other specialists in Chinese law and related affairs. It covers Chinese legal developments, conferences, publications and research resources and has an archive extending back to 2005. The site has links to a set of research guides on Chinese law.

Vietnamese Legal Translations

Web page from Australian based law firm Allens which provides English translations of Vietnamese laws. This is a subscription service but a selection of Vietnamese laws translated into English are made freely available on the site.  Translations include laws on enterprises, investments, securities, cybersecurity, competition, bankruptcy, construction, land and the Labour Code.

Lexology

Lexology is a subscription legal research service run by Law Business Research Ltd. The website contains articles, research reports and training videos produced by law firms, covering market intelligence, legal analysis and know-how from jurisdictions all around the world. Free registration provides access to legal news and a worldwide directory of legal experts.

Blawgsearch

Law blog (or 'blawg') finder, provided by Justia Legal Resources. The site indexes US blogs primarily, but there is some coverage of other jurisdictions. The home page lists the most popular blogs and most recent posts. Users may browse by area of law, US state or country and there is also a search facility. A resources page includes information about blogging software and hosting.
