The Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR) is an independent non-governmental organisation based in South Africa. They conduct research, advocacy and training working with communities affected by violence and provide mental health and psychosocial support services (MHPSS) to survivors of conflict and human rights violations. CSVR research reports are made freely available on the site. Recent reports have covered civil society's role in transitional justice in Africa, climate justice and promoting transitional Justice in Africa.

Website of the Centre virtuel de la connaissance sur l’Europe (CVCE) which is part of the University of Luxembourg. CVCE holds a collection of materials on the history of the European integration process. The collection includes texts, images and audio and the content is arranged under the following headings: historical events, European organisations, specific topics (including European ideas and values and treaties) and oral history (audio and video interviews with key figures concerned with European integration).

The Legal Humanities Association (LHA) is an academic society based in the UK but open to scholars, research students and practitioners around the world working across law, humanities and cultural studies. The LHA was established in 2025 and aims to support new research agendas and facilitate a range of activities including conferences, workshops and discussion groups. International Association for Legislation

Website of the International Association for Legislation (IAL), a charitable organisation that started in 1991 as the European Association of Legislation. The aim of the IAL is to improve legislation, promote research and teaching and to strengthen international cooperation in the field of legislation. Members of IAL include universities, law societies, national associations for legislation, parliamentary and government officials. The Association holds conferences and lectures and produces publications some of which can be downloaded from the site including the IAL Newsletter.

Corporate Veil Doctrine and its Implications in Offshore Jurisdictions

Online guide to the corporate veil doctrine in offshore jurisdictions written by Veronica Rozenfeld who is a Junior Associate at Capital Legal Services in Baku, Azerbaijan. The guide was published in 2025 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author gives a definition of the corporate veil doctrine as a “cornerstone of corporate law, shielding shareholders from personal liability for the obligations of their companies” and an overview of ‘offshore’ jurisdictions.

Association for the Study of Law, Culture, and the Humanities

Website of the Association for the Study of Law, Culture, and the Humanities (LCH) a global membership body of legal scholars focused on law and the humanities. Research areas cover “legal history, legal theory and jurisprudence, law and cultural studies, law and literature, law and the performing arts, and legal hermeneutics”. The LCH holds annual conferences and publishes a quarterly journal, Law, Culture and the Humanities. Website of the Law, Literature and Humanities Association of Australasia (LLHAA) a membership organisation for legal scholars focusing on the intersection between law and culture. The LLHAA holds biannual conferences throughout the region. Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory

Website of the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory a research institute based in Frankfurt. It is one of the nine Max Planck institutes, engaged in advanced legal research, which forms part of the Max Planck Law network. Departments within the Institute focus on the following areas of legal research: European and Comparative Legal History, Historical Regimes of Normativity and Multidisciplinary Theory of Law. The site gives information on the research projects being undertaken along with seminars and events.

Institute for Information Law

Website of the Institute for Information Law (IViR) a research centre within the Faculty of Law at the University of Amsterdam. The purpose of the IViR is to further the development of information law and research covers freedom of expression, intellectual property law, media law, privacy, broadcasting and advertising law. Details of the Information Law Series of books, published by Kluwer Law International, are given on the site with older volumes made freely available to download. There is also information on individual research projects, lectures and other events held at the Institute.
