An online research and resource guide to Australian Law, written by Nick Pengelley who is Chief Law Librarian at Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in Canada and Sue Milne who is a lecturer at the University of South Australia, School of Law. The guide provides background information about the Australian legal system and identifies sources of primary materials such as Australian legislation, cases and treaties. Additional information is provided on finding secondary sources such as journal literature, legal encyclopaedias, law reform materials, directories and legal research guides. The authors also suggest sources for the main legal publishers, current awareness services, discussion lists, commercial information brokers and major textbooks. This guide, published in January 2014 by LLRX.com (Law Library Resource Xchange), updates previous versions. LLRX is a free online web journal for legal information professionals.
