The guide was published on New York University's Globalex website in 2006 (and updated in 2024 by Olga Pouperova) it provides an introduction to the Czech political and legal system covering the executive, legislative and judicial powers. An outline of the legal system covering the courts, sources of law and the types of legislation is given and there are links to government institutions and departments and other websites, in Czech and English. The guide also covers legal education and the legal profession, major law journals and legal publishers.
