Online guide to Bermuda law written by Karen Skiffington who is a Law Librarian at Carey Olsen in Bermuda. The guide was published in 2010 (and updated in 2021 by Jennifer Williams) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author gives an outline of the Bermuda legal system which is based on the English system and includes sections focusing on legislation, the courts and the legal profession. The guide highlights differences between Bermuda Law and English law. References are given to publications on Bermuda law and there are links to key online resources.
