The Institute was founded in 1991 with the aim of disseminating knowledge of European law and its work is focused particularly on European Constitutional Law, European Free Movement Law, EU External Relations Law, European Competition Law, Fundamental Rights, European co-operation in the criminal sphere and European responses to terrorism.
