The guide was written by Jootaek Lee who is Senior Law Librarian (Research Librarian for Foreign, Comparative & International Law), Lecturer, and Affiliated Faculty for the Program on Human Rights and the Global Economy (PHRGE) at the Northeastern University School of Law. The guide was published in 2016 (and updated in 2023) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author looks at how international law has attempted to address the issue of contemporary land grabbing and highlights selected books, articles and reports on the subject providing publication details and links to the full texts where available. Links to related organisations are also given.
