International Institute for the Unification of Private Law

Website of the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), an independent intergovernmental organisation based in Rome. The site presents information on the work of UNIDROIT and makes available the texts of its model laws and conventions (with status information). UNIDROIT proceedings and papers are provided from 1994 onwards and there is a searchable and browsable index to the organisation's journal, Uniform Law Review, from 1974 onwards.

Supreme Court of Delaware

Official website of the Supreme Court of the US State of Delaware. The site offers information about the Court's history, judges and committees. Copies of the Supreme Court rules and administrative directives can be downloaded from the site. Supreme Court orders and opinions are available on the site back to 2000 and can also be downloaded in full text.

World Intellectual Property Organization Arbitration and Mediation Center

Internet site for the World Intellectual Property Organization's Arbitration and Mediation Center. The Center was established in Geneva, Switzerland in 1994 to offer dispute resolution advisory services, particularly in international commercial disputes between private parties. The site publishes information about the Center, its work in arbitration and mediation and its staff. There are sections offering information on arbitration, mediation, expert determination and domain name dispute resolution. The sections include general information, decisions, fees and rules.

Association for Civil Rights in Israel

This independent, non-partisan Association was seeks to strengthen Israel's commitment to civil liberties and human rights. Its website provides summaries of cases ACRI has been involved with relating to equality, religious pluralism and freedom of conscience, freedom of expression, freedom of information, human dignity and due process of law. It also has information about the Association's projects, education programmes and public outreach services. There are also articles, press releases and reports to download. The site has Hebrew, Arabic and English interfaces.

GayLawNet

An information and directory site based in Australia providing general information, news and resources concerning the law as it affects gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender and intersex people around the world. Information on the site includes details of laws relating to children, discrimination, inheritance, partnership, property, sexual offences, superannuation and other topics in various jurisdictions around the world. There are also links to legislation, cases and news reports some of which require subscription access.

High Court of Australia

Website of the Australian High Court. The site provides summaries of new judgments, available on the day of the judgment; users can subscribe to these via RSS or email. The written submissions by the parties to a case are also available. The site provides a monthly bulletin which includes lists of pending cases, cases reserved for judgment, cases granted special leave to appeal and so on. Rules, forms and practice directions are available to download and there is a link to full text judgmnets of the Court on AustLII.

Sistema Argentino de Informatica Juridica

Website containing the official Argentinian Government database of legislation and legal resources. Provides the Constitution of Argentina, provincial constitutions, codes, national and provincial decrees, judgments of the Supreme Court, federal, national and provincial courts. There is also a large collection of journal articles and other commentary (under 'Doctrina'), as well as decisions and resolutions relating to Mercosur (the Southern common market).

Trade Issues : Trade in services

Web pages presented and maintained by the European Commission's Directorate General for Trade in order to help service providers in the EU to operate around the world. Includes substantial information about EU participation in the WTO's General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) and some details of it activities regarding regional and bilateral agreements. There is a page devoted to relevant legislation, reports and other publications; another page covers e-commerce and services.

Documenting a Democracy: Australia's Story

A key resource for political historians. This site has been created by the National Archives of Australia to provide access to over 100 documents which trace the development of democratic government in Australia. It includes the full-text of sets of constitutional documents, from each of the eight states, land laws and civil rights legislation recognising the rights of the indigenous Aborigine peoples. Also provided is a timeline of Australian constitutional history and a glossary of key terms.
