Public Law Wales is a membership organisation promoting discussion, education and research relating to public law and human rights in Wales. It was founded in 1999 in response to devolution and membership is drawn from members of the independent bar, solicitors in private and public practice, academics from Wales’ universities and students. Details of events and copies of recent publications are given on the site which can be viewed in Welsh and English.

Legal Wales holds an annual conference which focuses on constitutional and legal developments in Wales. The Welsh Legal History Society was founded in 1999 to promote interest and research into the history of law in Wales. Contents pages of the Society’s journal and a selection of full text articles are available on the site. There is also a selection of research resources aimed at researchers of Welsh legal history along with a page of links to databases and repositories containing historical legal materials. Official website of the Circuit Commercial Court (formerly known as the Mercantile Court) which is a specialist court forming part of the Business and Property Court of the High Court of Justice. The Court handles commercial and business disputes covering issues such as sale of goods, restraint of trade, banking and financial services and disputes over contracts and business documents. Website of the Welsh Revenue Authority (WRA) the government body set up in 2018 to administer and collect the new Welsh devolved taxes- the Land Transaction Tax (LTT) and the Landfill Disposals Tax (LDT). From April 2018 the LTT replaces the UK Stamp Duty Land Tax in Wales and is payable when someone buys or leases a building or land over a certain price. The site has a LTT calculator to calculate the amount of tax to pay for Welsh transactions completed on or after 1 April 2018. LTT returns can also be filed on the site and landfill operators and other organisations can register for LDT.

Social Care Wales is the body that sets and maintains standards for the social care workforce in Wales. There is information on the Register of Social Care Workers in Wales which is administered by Social Care Wales and on the Code of Professional Practice for Social Care which sets standards for all care professionals in Wales. The site also has training, development and careers information for the social care sector.
