American College of Trial Lawyers

Website of the American College of Trial Lawyers a membership organisation of trial lawyers in the United States and Canada "dedicated to maintaining and improving the standards of trial practice, the administration of justice and the ethics of the profession." The site gives details of committees and their chairs, information about events and a searchable directory of attorneys. A number of full text publications are made freely available on the site including reports covering topics such as judicial compensation, cameras in the courtroom, judicial independence and mass torts.

Trial International

Trial International is an organisation, based in Switzerland, whose aim is to "fight against impunity for the perpetrators accomplices and instigators of genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and acts of torture." Trial International are involved with cases concerning these types of crimes and there is background information and news stories relating to these cases. The organisation's reports can be downloaded in full and there are profiles of the countries Trial International works with. The site is available in English and French.

Jury Expert

Website of the free electronic journal, Jury Expert: the Art and Science of Litigation Advocacy. The journal is published by the American Society of Trial Consultants (ASTC), a US-based organisation whose members work with attorneys in planning all phases of trial¨including discovery, trial preparation, and jury behaviour. The current issue is available together with previous issues back to May 2005.
