Legacy website of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) which was established by the United Nations Security Council in 1995 to prosecute those responsible for the genocide that took place in Rwanda during 1994. The ICTR closed in 2015. There is background information and a timeline to the genocide. Selected documents relating to each trial, including indictments, judgements and transcripts, are given in PDF.
The Truth Commission Digital Collection forms part of the Margarita S. Studemeister Digital Library in International Conflict Management at the United States Institute of Peace. There are profiles of truth commissions and commissions of inquiry set up in different countries with background information, details of members, links to establishing documents and each commission's final reports and findings. Sources of information for each profile are also given.
The African Legal Information Institute (AfricanLII) makes available treaties, cases, resolutions, decisions, reports and other publications of African regional organisations. It also provides access to legislation and cases from 16 African countries, via its search facility. The home page has links to regional and national African websites. AfricanLII is a project of the Democratic Governance and Rights Unit (DGRU) at the University of Cape Town law faculty.
Online (PDF) version of a report published by Human Rights Watch which provides a digest of judgements of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. The digest is organised by subject including genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, individual responsibility, command responsibility and fair trial requirements and includes judgements available up to the end of 2008.

The site includes educational resources relating to the Nazi holocaust and genocide studies in general, including video and audio materials, personal narratives and photographs. There is also a searchable database of relevant books and articles. Information is provided about the work of the Centre and its newsletter is available from the Fall 1999 issue onwards.

The Official Gazette of the Republic of Rwanda is available free on the website of the Rwandan Ministry of Justice from 2004 onwards. It contains legislation and official orders in English, French and Kinyarwanda. Access is via hyperlinks to each individual issue - there is no search facility.

Published on New York University's Globalex website, it describes the Rwandan governmental and legal system and outlines legal education in Rwanda.
