Charity Law Unit

Society of Legal Scholars

Website of the Society of Legal Scholars (SLS, a UK professional association aiming to advance legal education, which includes teaching in universities, legal research and the professional training of lawyers. The site provides organisational and membership information and details of conferences, events and SLS publications. There are web pages for the various subject sections giving details of each section's news, events and contact details. SLS newsletters are available going back to 2004 and position papers and consultation responses can be downloaded from the site.

LLM-Guide.com

The LLM-Guide.com provides an online listing of the postgraduate Master of Laws courses currently offered by universities around the world. The site is sponsored by the Indiana University School of Law, Leiden University's Faculty of Law, the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center and other institutions. Law schools are arranged by region including the United States, Europe, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and Asia. These regions are then sub-divided by country or state. Listings include contact details and a link to the course programme.

Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen

The Faculty of Law at the University of Copenhagen is Denmark's largest law school, and one of the largest in Northern Europe. The library facilities include the Law Research Library, which contains a large collection of international literature on law subjects, and the Library of Criminology and Criminal Law. The holdings of the Library of Criminology and Criminal Law cover the subjects: Criminology, Criminal Law and Sociology of Law.

An innovative directory of academics and researchers which is being developed by a team headed by Dr Richard Price of All Souls College, Oxford. It intends to provide free access to a database of information about academic researchers and departments in colleges worldwide. Individual records include research interests and information on projects. It is possible to search by department or research interests. The site was launched in 2008 and relies heavily on self registration, therefore users should be aware that information may not be comprehensive.
