The site is aimed at the general public and endeavours to be user-friendly and readily accessible. Information is presented under various topical headings reflecting consumer interests, public services and life events: housing, health, birth, personal finance, culture and recreation, justice, etc. The justice section includes information on legal aid, going to court, being a witness, and jury service.
The Iris Oifigiúil is the official Irish State gazette, published twice a week by the Stationery Office in Dublin. It announces public appointments in Ireland, ministerial proclamations, news and details of new Statutory Instruments and details of appointment of receivers to companies. The full text is available from January 2002 onwards, in PDF format. A search screen allows searching by keyword with options to refine by date and section of the Gazette.
The Honorable Society of King's Inns is the body which governs entry to the barristers' profession in Ireland. This WorldLII project aims to make searchable from one location all of the databases specialising in Privacy and freedom of information (FOI) law available on WorldLII. Databases currently included are taken from CanLII (the Canadian Legal Information Institute), AustLII (the Australasian Legal Information Institute) and BAILII (the British and Irish Legal Information Institute). Material is also included from the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC).
Website of the Residential Institutions Redress Board, an Irish statutory body which pays compensation to people who were abused as children in industrial schools, reformatories and other institutions subject to state regulation or inspection. The site has information about applying for redress, including forms and details of hearing procedures. All the cases are grouped into 4 categories- dispute type, legislative type, case number and alphabetically by party. This enables you to locate cases by searching or browsing. Dispute type organises cases under subject headings such as overtime, harassment, pensions and working time.

The site has a guide to the work of the Court and provides its recommendations, determinations and decisions, as well as court forms and procedural guidelines. The Irish Legal Information Initiative (IRLII) Periodical Index is produced under the auspices of the Law Faculty at the University College, Cork and made freely available on the IRLII website. The index contains a compilation of 23 legal journals dating back to 1997 many focusing on Irish legal issues. The index includes titles such as the Irish Law Times, Dublin University Law Journal, Northern Ireland legal Quarterly and the Irish Jurist. The index can be browsed by individual journal or searched by keyword.
Website of the Cork Online Law Review (COLR) published annually by students at the Law Faculty of University College Cork in Ireland and made freely available online. The articles featured in the COLR are written by students and focus primarily, but not exclusively, on aspects of law in Ireland. Subjects covered in the 2010 issue include alternatives to traditional sentencing methods in South Africa, the Criminal Justice (Surveillance) Act 2009 and balancing conflicting interests during pregnancy.
