In-house is one of the blogs hosted by LexisNexis. It is aimed at in house lawyers covering the latest trends and best practice for in house legal teams. Recent articles look at using AI in legal settings, sustainability in legal teams and legal apprenticeships. Posts date back to 2013 and can be searched by keyword or browsed by tags.

Laws.Africa

Laws.Africa is a non-profit organisation working with African governments to make African legislation and cases available for free online. Its website provides technical information and an API developer guide; it also offers case studies, best practice guidance for publishing legal documentation online and information about naming conventions for documents.

LegalTechList

A database giving details of nearly 2,000 selected legal technology companies from around the world. It can be searched, or browsed by the following categories: fields of analytics, compliance, document automation, legal education, legal research, the marketplace, online dispute resolution, practice management and e-discovery; each record is tagged with more specific terms. LegalTechList is provided by CodeX, the Stanford Center for Legal Informatics, at Stanford University in the United States.

Cloud Legal Project

The Cloud Legal Project (CLP) is an initiative of the Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary University of London. The project undertakes research in the areas of law and regulation of cloud computing services. The website makes available general information about the project as well as information on areas of current research, research papers and consultation responses. The majority of research papers are made available via links to the SSRN website. A news section gives updates on recent activities of the project.

Legal Software Suppliers Association

Website of the Legal Software Suppliers Association (LSSA), the industry body for legal systems developers and vendors in the UK. The site has links to members’ websites, a copy of the LSSA code of conduct and details of working parties. There is a white paper on data conversion which provides guidance for law firms changing from one software system to another. News items and a page of related web links are also given.

Technolama

The TechnoLlama blog covers information technology law, including topics such as open licensing, digital rights and software protection. The blog is compiled by Dr Andrés Guadamuz, Senior Lecturer in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Sussex. The site gives details of publications by the author.

Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC)

BEREC is an EU body based in Latvia which is responsible for the regulation of electronic communications markets. Its website provides background information and news about its work. The Documents page makes available all publicly-available BEREC documentation, including decisions, recommendations, statements of best practice, opinions, reports and more; there is also a facility for requesting access to internal documents.The website has also has details of BEREC consultations and information about net neutrality. It is in English only.

Eugene F. Collins

This Irish law firm website provides commentary on Irish legal developments, in its Publications section. The areas of law covered include company law, banking, employment, European Union, competition, immigration, intellectual property, information technology, litigation, dispute resolution, media and property.

JurPC: Internet-Zeitschrift für Rechtsinformatik

German-language legal information e-journal publishing articles by legal information managers, specialists and practitioners.  Articles cover topics relating to information innovations in law and electronic publishing and services and other online developments relevant to the legal community. The journal is open access and is edited by Professor Dr Maximillian Herberger of the Universität des Saarlandes.
