Society of International Economic Law

The Society of International Economic Law (SIEL) is a global association for academics working in the field of international economic law, as well as for practitioners and officials with an interest in the academic side of the subject. Its website describes the aims and activities of the Society. It has details of the Society’s conferences, with links to the conference papers on SSRN. There is also a News page, and Resources page which lists academic programmes on international economic law at various universities around the world.

Securities Commission Malaysia

The Securities Commission is a statutory body with investigative and enforcement powers and a range of regulatory functions based around protecting the investor and encouraging and promoting the development of the securities and derivatives market in Malaysia. This is its official website and contains an overview of the Securities Commission and its work, details of relevant legislation and guidelines, information on capital market licencing, capital market data and statistics, press releases and careers information. It can be viewed in Bahasa Melayu as well as English.

Rahoitustarkastus (Financial Supervision)

The Finnish Financial Supervision Authority (FSA) "supervises financial markets and participants" in Finland. The FSA works in connection with the Bank of Finland, but is independent and takes its mandate from the Act on FSA of 1993 (included in an English-language version). The site presents various documents pertaining to the FSA's strategy, procedure, objectives and history. News, updates, annual reports and some articles are presented, and longer documents are in PDF.

European Central Bank (ECB)

The European Central Bank (ECB) implements the monetary policy of the European Union, and in particular maintains the European System of Central Banks. It is the central bank for the European single currency, the euro. Its website has news, statistics and information on the euro, monetary policy, payments and markets. The ECB's reports, reviews and papers are available on the website, as are its Monthly Bulletin, Economic Bulletin
