Founded in 1990 to fill the gap between the international human rights movement and the gay rights movement, OutRight Action International (previously the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission) aims to advance the fundamental human rights of gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, trans people, intersex people and people with HIV/AIDS. It combines traditional human rights techniques such as monitoring, documenting, advocating and public policy development with grassroots organising and supporting groups in developing countries.
Statewatch is a non-profit voluntary organisation which monitors the state and civil liberties in the UK and the rest of Europe. The Statewatch Database contains more than 25,000 records, including news, features, pamphlets, reports, legislation, EU resolutions and agreements, details of UK parliamentary debates and those of the European Parliament and reports on European Court of Human Rights cases. Material less than 6 months old can be accessed free of charge; older materials require a subscription.
The Refugee Law Reader is described as being an "online model curriculum for the study of the complex and rapidly evolving field of international refugee law." The site is aimed at the academic and legal profession and is hosted by the Hungarian Helsinki Committee. It was originally devised to support the work of the Legal Assistance through Refugee Clinics (LARC) project.
The First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) is an independent tribunal which hears appeals from decisions made by the United Kingdom Home Office on immigration and asylum issues. The site provides information on making an appeal including links to relevant legislation and full text decisions of the Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) back to 2000.

An AustLII database featuring the full-text of published decisions of the Refugee Review Tribunal in Australia. The system offers a comprehensive search facility, case name search, and recent decisions listing. Data is supplied by the Tribunal in a format edited to protect the privacy of applicants and their relatives. All decisions from 1985 - 1st June 1999 are published. After that date only selected key decisions are published by the Tribunal.

Founded in 1994, FFM researches the situation of refugees and migrants in various Central and Eastern European countries.
