Online guide to researching Pakistan law, by Omar Sial of Pakistan law firm Omar Sial & Associates. The research guide was published in 2005 (and updated in 2023) on the Globalex website, which is run by the Hauser Global Law School Program at New York University. There is an introduction providing background and historical information to Pakistan, its constitutional development and the constitutional status of Islamic law. The structure of government, the law making process and the court system are also explained.

Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan

The Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan is the body responsible for advising on reforms and improvements to the law including "modernization, unification and codification". The site gives historic and background information to the judicial system and administration of justice in Pakistan along with a full-text copy of the Constitution. Annual reports of the various courts and judicial statistics can be viewed on the site and full-text reports of the Law Commission can be downloaded.

Pakistan (Punjab) Legislation

A CommonLII database containing legislation for the Pakistan province of Punjab. The legislation dates from the nineteenth century onwards and can be viewed using the system's comprehensive search facility, act name search or alphabetical browse list. The information is derived from the government website Punjab Laws Online. The Commonwealth Legal Information Institute (CommonLII) is a collaborative service providing free access to primary legal materials from Commonwealth and common law countries and territories.

Alternative dispute resolution in Pakistan

Guide to alternative dispute resolution in Pakistan written by Salman Ravala, JD (Syracuse University, New York) and updated by Farah Khan in 2023. The guide is published on the GlobaLex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author provides background information about Pakistan, highlighting legal sources relevant to ADR, including the Constitution, treaties and national laws.

Asian Patent Attorneys Association

Website of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), an NGO that seeks to promote intellectual property protection in the Asian region (including Australia and New Zealand). The site provides a newsletter and gives details of APAA committees and regional groups, a history of the organisation, and details of conferences and meetings. Parts of the site are restricted to members.

Supreme Court of Pakistan

Official website of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, with background information about the court and the judiciary, cause lists and a judgments database. Other materials available on the site include the Supreme Court Rules, an overview of the judicial system of Pakistan, and the Supreme Court Research Centre's Quarterly Case Update.
