Ombudsman Association

The Ombudsman Association is a membership organisation for ombudsmen from the UK, Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and Britain's overseas territories. The website includes lists of the voting and associate members of the Association. They cover a wide range of topics such as Energy, Housing, Legal Services, Prisons and Probation, and Parliamentary Standards. Entries give a brief note of responsibilities with contact addresses, phone and fax numbers, and email and website addresses.

Guide to Irish Law

A commentary and bibliographic resource guide concerned with Irish law, legal materials and research written by Dr Darius Whelan, Lecturer in Law at University College Cork in Ireland. The guide was published on the Globalex website in 2005 (updated in 2019) and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The guide presents an overview of Irish law with reference to the essential print, electronic and free Web sources.

Irish Statutory Instruments

A BAILII database containing Irish Statutory Instruments (SIs) from 1922 onwards. The SIs may be browsed by title or year, or searched. The British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) is a collaborative service aiming to provide public access to primary legal materials for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

World Law: Ireland

Ireland section of WorldLII's Countries service. A full range of browse and search features are available on the site. Browse sections highlight links relating to: Courts and Case law, Education, Government, Lawyers, Legislation and Parliament. Additional subject areas include: Business Trade and Commerce, Competition Law, Cyberspace, Industrial Relations and Labour Law and Infrastructure. A website promoting the Dublin-based law firm A & L Goodbody, outlining the services and areas of specialisation offered by the firm and its staff. In-house articles are available on specific topics including tax, gaming and betting, banking and financial services in Ireland and a monthly newsletter, 'Tracker' covers financial services regulation in Ireland. A current Legal News section features recent commentary and articles on topical legal issues in Ireland - particularly those involving business and taxation.

Irish Statute Book

Online collection of Irish statutes passed by the Oireachtas (the Irish Parliament) covering the years 1922 to 2010. The service is freely provided by the website of the Irish Attorney General. The information is organised in three sections- Acts of the Oireachtas 1922-2010, Statutory Instruments 1922-2010 and a chronological listing of statutes from 1922-2005. The first two sections are arranged by date.

High Court of Ireland Decisions

A BAILII database containing decisions of the Irish High Court. Most of the cases are from the 1990s onwards, but a few earlier decisions are also available. Cases can be browsed alphabetically or by date, and there is a search facility. The British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) provides free access to primary legal materials for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

Supreme Court of Ireland Decisions

This BAILII (British and Irish Legal Information Institute) website provides decisions of the Irish Supreme Court. Most of the cases are from the 1990s onwards, but some earlier decisions are available, back to 1965. Decisions can be browsed by party name or by date, and there is a search facility. BAILII is a collaborative service providing free access to primary legal materials for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

A BAILII database of statutes passed by the Oireachtas, the Irish Parliament, from 1922 onwards. Acts are listed alphabetically and by year and there is also a search facility. The collection is made freely available on the internet as part of the British and Irish Legal Information Institute service.
