Website of the Kenyan Judiciary. Provides cause lists and court decisions from the courts in Kenya, including the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and High Court. Describes the history of the judiciary in Kenya, and details the system of courts in place, with brief descriptions of the function of each court. Also contains information on the different offices of the judiciary, and a resource centre.
ECOLEX is an environmental law information service operated by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Conservation Union (IUCN). It is partly funded by the Dutch government. The website provides a searchable database which combines the environmental law information held by all three bodies. This comprises multilateral treaties; national legislation; European Union instruments; international "soft law" and related documents; bibliographic details of law and policy literature; and judicial decisions.
Website of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK). The Society, formed in 1948, works to advise and assist the legal profession, government and public on matters relating to the administration of justice in Kenya. Membership comprises all practising advocates in Kenya. There is information on the history and objectives of the LSK, profiles of Council and Secretariat members and a searchable directory of members. The Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer was adopted in 1987 and has been amended several times since. The Protocol followed the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer (1985). It aimed to reduce and eventually eliminate the emissions of man-made ozone depleting substances. The Protocol is available here on the website of the UN Environment Programme, together with details of ratifications, the Handbook for the Montreal Protocol other information, in English, Arabic, French, Spanish, Chinese and Russian.
This convention was the first general treaty for the protection of the ozone layer. Published in 2001 by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), it is available on the website of the Ozone Secretariat (Secretariat for the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer and for the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer).
The Kenya Human Rights Commission is a non-governmental body established in 1992 to monitor the state of democracy and human rights in Kenya. Its website provides information on the history, purpose and activities of the organisation. It includes access to recent press releases and details of programmes being undertaken. Topics covered include transitional justice, political corruption, the state of democracy in Kenya, human rights abuses and the conduct of elections and referendums.
The Global Land Tool Network (GLTN) is an initiative of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT), the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the World Bank. The main aim of the GLTN is to alleviate poverty and contribute to achievement of the Millennium Development Goals, through land reform, improved land management and security of tenure. The website has background and organisational information about the GLTN and its partner organisations.
The Laws of Kenya website, provided by the National Council for Law Reporting, makes available Kenyan statutes and subsidiary legislation arranged by subject, with a search facility. The site also has Kenyan case law, the Kenya Gazette and other material.

A free searchable database of cases is provided, going back to the 1970s; many cases are available in full, but for some only brief details are given. The Laws of Kenya are provided on the same website, together with other legal material, including the Kenya Gazette back to 2003, bills, cause lists from various courts, a treaty database, and a collection of articles and commentaries. The site also has information about the history of law reporting in Kenya.
