Delaware State Bar Association

The Delaware State Bar Association was established in 1923 and provides services to the Delaware legal community and the general public. The site provides contact details of the Executive Committee and Association staff and there is information about the various sections and committees. Contents pages of the Delaware Law Review are available on the site along with copies of the Association's magazine, IN RE. Opinions of the Association's Committee on Professional Ethics are available in PDF back to 1978. There are also links to Delaware legal information and other websites.

Delaware Law Review

The Delaware Law Review is published by the Delaware State Bar Association and the contents pages are made freely available on their website. The Review is published annually and contains scholarly articles focusing particularly on Delaware law.

State Bar of California

Website of the State Bar of California a mandatory bar association established in 1927. The State Bar forms part of the California Supreme Court and is responsible for regulating the professional conduct of practising attorneys in California. The site has background information about the organisation and functions of the State Bar including news, details of events, meetings and the activities of the Board of Governors. There are a selection of annual reports which are made available in PDF dealing with disciplinary issues and the Lawyer Assistance Program.

Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law

The Washington DC-based Judge David L. Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law is an advocacy organisation for people with mental illnesses or developmental disabilities. The site gives information about the Center's work, which includes litigation, policy analysis and research. The website provides links to American disability rights organisations, a collection of amicus briefs from litigation in which the Center has been involved and summaries of the Center's past and current litigation work.

Brennan Center for Justice

The Brennan Center for Justice is based at NYU School of Law. Established in 1995, it seeks to strengthen democracy and criminal justice in the United States by means of education, research and litigation. The website has details of its work and provides a blog, commentary on current issues, Brennan Center court cases, e-alerts, press releases and publications.

Justice in Aging

Justice in Aging (formerly the National Senior Citizens Law Center or NSCLC), is an advocacy, litigation and training group based in Washington DC. It works on behalf of low-income elderly and disabled people. Its website has background information on key issues and details of cases the NSCLC is involved with. The Resource Library provides briefings, fact sheets, blogs, toolkits, reports, webinars and other material.

Pretrial Justice Institute

The Pretrial Justice Institute is non-profit organisation based in Washington DC, providing information, publications and training on pretrial issues to US criminal justice practitioners. The website provides details of projects the PJI is involved with and reports and surveys the Institute has produced. It also has details of training programmes.

Holocaust Denial on Trial

Website hosted by Emory University in the United States focusing on the 2000 libel trial of David Irving v. Penguin Books and Deborah Lipstadt, but also including up to date news and comment on similar issues. The site provides background information and FAQs about the trial and the holocaust. Coverage of the trial includes transcripts of proceedings and the judgment, as well as details of the appeal.
