Washington DC-based non-profit law firm, founded in 1982 and formerly known as Trial Lawyers for Public Justice. Public Justice brings cases to counter abuses of corporate power, the undermining of civil rights/civil liberties and threats to the environment. Its website has details of its work, including a list of cases, with legal briefs and opinions (judgments) attached. A podcast and a blog are available and there is a sign-up form for the Public Justice newsletter.

Review of civil litigation costs

This section of the Judiciary website is devoted to official reviews of civil litigation costs, from Lord Justice Jackson's prelimary and final reports of 2009 and 2010 onwards. It provides background information about the reviews, the official reports on civil litigation costs, pilot studies, press releases, speeches, responses to consultations and related documents.

Disease-i

Disease-i is a subscription website provided by Weightmans, a UK-based firm of solicitors. The site is intended for lawyers dealing with disease claims and provides guidance and background information on a range of related issues. The section headed Legal Principles covers the existence of a duty of care, forseeability, causation and contributory negligence. Other legal topics include insurance histories and coverage, limitation and quantum.

CaseCheck

CaseCheck is a website run by Moore Legal Technology, a consultancy set up by former solicitors. It provides free access to selected personal injury and negligence cases from UK courts. Case summaries are available back to 2000, browseable by name and/or area of law, or searchable by key word and other criteria.
