Online guide to the Iranian legal system written by Maliheh Zare in 2013 and updated in 2022 by Mohammad Soltani and Nafise Shooshinasab. The guide is published on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author outlines the structure of the Iranian legal system covering the executive, legislative and judicial powers. There are sections on the court system and Iranian legal profession. The guide also provides links to official government websites and law faculties.

Section of WorldLII's Countries service covering the Islamic Republic of Iran. The site offers browse and search facilities to trace internet resources for Iran including sites relating to Iran's Government, Legislation and Lawyers. Additional sections focus on subject sites including Intellectual Property, Foreign Investment and Taxation and Customs. There are details of the Executive Council and members of the Iranian Bar. There is also information on the Association's links with the Iranian judiciary. A guide to the legal system of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Online guide to the Iranian legal system written by Omar Sial who is a partner in the Pakistan based law firm Hasan & Sial, Advocates and Corporate Counselors. The guide was published in March 2006 on the Globalex website and is made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. There is background information on the history and government of Iran and an outline of the roles of the Supreme Leader, the President, Parliament (The Majles), Assembly of Experts, the Council of Guardians and the Expediency Council.

Constitution of Iran

This site contains the full-text of the Constitution of Iran which is made freely available in English by International Constitutional Law (ICL) at the University of Bern in Switzerland. The Constitution was adopted in 1979 and this version includes amendments made in 1989. The document covers the official language, script, calendar and flag, the rights of the people, the economy and financial affairs, the right of national sovereignty, legislative powers, executive power, the leadership council, the judiciary and foreign policy.

Iran Law

Iran Law is a guide to online legal resources focusing on Iran which are made freely available on the web. Iran Law forms part of Pars Times a web guide to international sources of news, economics, business and financial information with particular emphasis on Iran. The guide has sections with links to the Iranian Constitution in English and Persian along with information on parliament and the judiciary. Links to Iranian laws are arranged by subject including business, trade, intellectual property, environmental and family law.

Iranian-American Bar Association

Website of the Iranian-American Bar Association (IABA) which was formed in 2000 as a non-profit organisation representing the Iranian-American legal community. The site includes profiles of directors and officers of the IABA, details of future events organised by the Association and a PDF copy of their by-laws. There is a directory of members and full text copies of the IABA Review and the IABA Newsletter can be viewed in PDF. Links to papers, reports and other resources are also provided.
