The website of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is an online resource providing information about the CAA's responsibilities and activities in the area of civil aviation. As aviation regulator for the United Kingdom, the CAA ensures that UK civil aviation standards are set and adhered to. Its prime areas of responsibility are air safety, economic regulation, airspace regulation, and consumer protection. The site is organised accordingly, and each section gives comprehensive information about policy, procedures, codes of practice, regulations, and relevant legislation if applicable.

Irish Aviation Authority

Website of the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) the body responsible for safety regulation of the civil aviation industry in Ireland. The site provides information about the IAA including annual reports, IAA policies and flight statistics. Full text legislation relating to the IAA's areas of responsibility can be viewed on the site. These include airworthiness operations, aerodromes and airspace and air navigation standards regulation. The site also provides information on pilot licensing and a PDF copy of the Irish Register of Civil Aviation Aircraft.

There are details about members and a collection of free articles and case commentaries covering related topics such as carriage by air, rail, road and sea, insurance and conflict of laws. 

European Aviation Safety Agency

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is a regulatory agency of the European Union whose role is to maintain and improve aviation safety in Europe. The website explains the EASA's structure and functions and gives information about its activities in the fields of rulemaking, certification, maintenance, environmental protection, Safety Assessment of Foreign Aircraft (SAFA) and procurement. EASA documentation is available, including Opinions and Decisions. The site also has proceedings from Management Board meetings.

International Space Law

This section of the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) website provides access to legal materials and background documents about international space law. These include treaties (bilateral and multilateral); General Assembly resolutions; a database of national laws and official documents relating to outer space (including a directory of space law courses, 'Educational opportunities in space law'); and studies by UNOOSA.

Lennuamet

This is the official website of the Estonian Civil Aviation Administration, responsible for civil aviation state inspection and supervision of the implementation of national laws and regulations. The site describes the structure of the Administration, with details of its subordinate departments, air companies, airports, and aircraft. There is a collection of legislation, including the aviation act, national and international law, and the commercial code.

International Institute of Air and Space Law

Website of the International Institute of Air and Space Law, which is based at Leiden University in the Netherlands. The institute's work includes teaching at graduate and post-graduate level, conducting research and providing advice and information to governments, international organisations and airlines. Its website includes information about the work of the Institute, the Hague Space Resources Governance Working Group and the International Air Law Moot Court.

Annals of Air and Space Law

Web pages of the journal Annals of Air and Space Law, published since 1976 by the Institute of Air and Space Law at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Contents pages are available for every volume and an index covering the period 1982 to 2008 is also provided. Details of the editorial board, requirements for submissions and information about subscriptions can also be found on the site.

European Centre for Space Law

Website of the European Centre for Space Law (ECSL), a research organisation set up by the European Space Agency (ESA) in 1989 with the aim of "improving space law research, education and practice in Europe." ECSL's website has course information, publications and a newsletter. Also included are ESA laws and regulations, bibliographies and other information.

Satellites and Law

Satellites and Law is a research programme based at the Centre for Law and the Environment at University College London. The programme deals with issues surrounding the use of satellites for monitoring and enforcing environmental laws. The site has information on research projects taking place looking at the use of satellites in legal systems, privacy issues in using satellite imagery in courts and national and international experience of using satellite imagery as a legal monitoring and compliance tool.
