General transferable skills: teamwork

Competence Statement	A student is able to: establish working relations with others, defining, sharing and delegating responsibilities within the group interact effectively in social groups promote productive cooperation.
Basic Level	Able to: work effectively as a team member meet deadlines and obligations set for him/her
Advanced Level	Able to: take initiative in a team, either as a member of the team or more usually by leading a group identify the needs of others in a group
Illustrations Of Activities	At basic level, participation in: group research project mooting teams tutorials, seminars or discussion led by senior students or lecturers team negotiation exercises At advanced level, participation in: inter-disciplinary tribunals – for example, a planning tribunal involving architects student led tutorials leading a group research project providing evidence of teamwork through work experience.
