The International Service for Human Rights is an independent, non-profit organisation based in Geneva and New York, with a permanent presence in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. It provides training, information and advocacy support for human rights defenders and is also concerned with promoting human rights and accountability and strengthening human rights laws. The ISHR website includes a collection of tools and resources including training material, guides, reports and research publications. It provides the ISHR's Model Law to Recognise and Protect Human Rights Defenders, with a map showing which countries have legislation based on the model, accompanied by the texts of each countries' laws. The site is available in English, French and Spanish.
