The guide was published in 2008 (and updated in 2014) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The introduction provides historical information about Indiaãs legal system and the guide goes on to present sections dealing with the Constitution, Supreme Court, the Judiciary, legal profession and legal education. The author gives guidance on sources of law and legal information in India including law reports and law journals and an annotated list of key legal websites.
