Website of the Institute of Law at Birzeit University in Palestine which was established in 1993 to provide legal research and education and to contribute to "the evolution of legal structures and the rule of law in Palestine". The website has information about courses run at the Institute and details of current research projects. Details of the Institute's publications are given on the site. Some of these are made freely available online as PDF or HTML documents and appear in Arabic or English. There is information about the library including the contents pages of English and Arabic legal journals that form part of their collection. Al-Muqtafi, a database of Palestinian legislation and case law can be searched if you register online.
