This is the full text of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea 1982, superseding previous conferences held in 1958 and 1960. A subsequent Agreement relating to the implementation of Part XI of the Convention was adopted on 28 July 1994 and entered into force on 28 July 1996. This Agreement (relating to the Implementation of Part XI of the Convention) is also included in the text.
