Website offering online legal resources by lawyers for lawyers with content provided by international law firm Simmons & Simmons. Elexica provides legal news, articles, legislative updates and case summaries arranged by legal subject. More detailed reports cover topics including commercial, corporate law, dispute resolution, employment and financial markets. There are regular newsletters and details of events and online training. Free registration is required to access much of the content provided by this site.

Academy of European Law

The Academy of European Law was established by the European University Institute (EUI) in 1990 to promote teaching and scholarship in the fields of European Union Law and Human Rights Law. It holds annual advanced-level courses on these subjects and publishes the content as Collected Courses of the Academy of European Law. Full details of the courses and the Academy's special projects are given on the website.

International Journal of the Sociology of Law

A print journal published by Elsevier, but this site gives the titles and some abstracts of articles published since March 1995 (via Science Direct, an online journal delivery service). The title of the journal has been changed to International Journal of Law, Crime and Justice since 2007 December. The International Journal of the Sociology of Law is an interdisciplinary forum for high quality research and debate on social context and social implications of law, law-enforcement, and legal process.

ARENA (Advanced Research on the Europeanisation of the Nation-State)

ARENA is a research programme focusing on developments in the governance of Europe. It is based at the University of Oslo. The website provides details of ARENA working papers from 1994 to the present, with links to the full text of many. Items published in the ARENA Reprint Series are listed without the full text. Information about the ARENA Report Series is also given, with some links to the full report. The site hosts the RECON Online Working Papers series on democracy in Europe; the full text of these is available. Details of seminars and other events are given.

European Journal of Legal Studies

The European Journal of Legal Studies (EJLS) is an open access peer-reviewed electronic journal covering comparative, international and European law and legal theory.  It was launched by the Law Department of the European University Institute in April 2007. EJLS is a multilingual publication, but a large proportion of the articles are in English. It can be browsed by issue and there is also a search facility.
