UN Women's Family Law Database

This database maps laws from around the world relating to women’s status in the family and society. Launched in July 2018, it is under development by the Global Women's Leadership Project (GWLP) at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, in association with UN Women. In its first phase the database covers the laws of African, European and Latin American jurisdictions as well as Israel, India and Pakistan; work is continuing on Middle Eastern jurisdictions.

Citizens Advice

Help and guidance for the general public in the UK on law and rights relating to privacy, benefits, housing, employment, debt, discrimination, consumer protection, immigration and other topics. The site is produced by Citizens Advice, a charity. Where appropriate, users are directed to additional sources of expert advice. It is in Welsh and English.

Center for Democracy and Technology

Non-profit organisation based in Washington DC, working to promote democracy in the digital age. The CDT is concerned with issues such as free expression, privacy, surveillance, elections, digital copyright, cryptography and artificial intelligence, in the United States and around the world. Its website provides CDT reports and resources for the general public.

Civil Rights Litigation Clearinghouse

The Civil Rights Litigation Clearinghouse is an initiative of the Law School at Washington University in St. Louis. Designed to increase understanding of civil rights litigation in the United States, it is a collection of US civil rights case documents, focusing on areas such as child welfare, disability rights, immigration, prison conditions, election/voting rights, juvenile institutions, nursing home conditions, public housing and school desegregation.
