Duke Journal of Gender Law and Policy

The Duke Journal of Gender Law and Policy is produced by students at Duke University School of Law, aided by a board of faculty advisors. The print journal began publication in 1994 and is published annually. The journal is an interdisciplinary publication devoted to discussion of gender issues in the context of law and public policy. Articles are solicited from practitioners, academics and Duke graduate students. The website includes articles from volume 4 (1997) onwards.

Columbia Journal of Gender and Law

The Columbia Journal of Gender and Law has been published since 1991 by students at Columbia University School of Law. The biannual Journal has an interdisciplinary approach to national and international gender-related issues, relevant to people of different colour, class, sexual orientation, and culture. The aim is to advance feminist scholarship and to interest students, practitioners and academics. The website provides tables of contents and abstracts of most articles from volume 1 (1991) onwards.

Coalition Against Trafficking in Women

The Coalition Against Trafficking in Women is a feminist human rights non-governmental organisation that works internationally to oppose all forms of sexual exploitation. Their website contains recent news relating to trafficking in women, a list of international contacts, publications and statements, campaign news, and a factbook on global sexual exploitation. Available in English, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.

Feminist Legal Studies

Feminist Legal Studies (ISSN 0996-3622) is a European journal covering feminist matters from a legal perspective with special interests in both the application of law to women's issues and contemporary debate in feminist legal theory. The journal is published three times a year by Springer Law for Kent Law School, Canterbury, UK. The site includes a search facility, information for authors and subscription details. 

Womankind Worldwide

Womandkind Worldwide is a UK charity devoted to empowering women to to improve their lives and lift their families and communities out of poverty. Womankind works closely with 55 partner community groups in 15 developing countries and funds projects that address local issues. All projects involve familiarising women with their rights and enabling them to use their rights to benefit their daily lives; when necessary projects also lobby for new legislation to protect women or improve their status.

Women's Human Rights Resources Programme

The Women's Human Rights Resources Programme is maintained by staff at Bora Laskin Law Library, University of Toronto. Resources provided on the site include a searchable database of articles and documents relating to women's human rights law, a collection of research guides and bibliographies, details of law courses in Canada relating specifically to women and a directory of women's rights organisations in Canada.

Global Fund for Women

The Global Fund for Women is "a nonprofit grantmaking foundation that advances women's human rights worldwide." It is "a network of women and men who believe that ensuring women's full equality and participation in society is one of the most effective ways to build a just, peaceful and sustainable world." It was established in 1987, and "makes grants to seed, strengthen and link women's rights groups based outside the United States working to address human rights issues".
